What Is Domestic Aggravated Assault?

Domestic assault if often called “domestic aggravated assault.” It is defined as an unlawful attack by one family member upon another with the intent of causing serious harm (i.e. bodily injury) through the use or threatened use of dangerous weapons. You can also be charged with domestic assault if your hands and feet are used to injure the other family member and the injuries are serious or life threatening.
